About Sam Kadammanitta
Dr. Sam Kadammanitta, born on April 15, 1983, to Mr. M.D. Samuel and Mrs. Jessy Samuel, shares a special connection with the festival of Vishu, as his mother fondly calls him the "Vishukkani of the family." He is blessed with a loving partner, Deepthi Luke, whom he married on August 17, 2011. Together, they have been gifted with two wonderful daughters, Esther Sam (born on August 9, 2012) and Erlyn Sam (born on June 29, 2017), by the grace of the Almighty Lord Jesus. Dr. Sam has a sister, Shiny Samuel, who is married to George Varghese. They are blessed with a son, Joel V. George.
Early Life & Education
Raised in a traditional family that deeply values religious customs and rituals, Dr. Sam Kadammanitta‘s early education began at Mount Zion Residential School, Anthiyalamkavu, Kadammanitta. He continued his primary education at MTLP School, Kadammanitta, followed by high school studies at MTHS, Pathanamthitta.
He pursued his Pre-Degree and Graduation in Economics at St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry, and later completed his Post-Graduation in Philosophy and Journalism from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai.
With a deep interest in family counseling, he obtained an M.Sc. in Family Counseling and an M.Phil. in Family Counseling from Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, Meghalaya, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D.
Recognizing his outstanding contributions to the Christian community in Kerala through his music and spiritual endeavors, the International Institute of Church Management, Florida honored him with the prestigious title of Doctor of Divinity.
Dr. Sam also holds a Diploma in Electronic Cinematography, Camera Techniques, and Sound Designing from the Kerala Media Academy, Kochi, further enhancing his creative expertise.

1. Idayavandanam – A Grand Musical Tribute to His Grace Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom
“Idayavandanam” was a heartfelt musical tribute dedicated to the late Valiya Metropolitan of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, His Grace Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan, as part of his 100th birthday celebrations.
This extraordinary event featured a three-hour-long musical homage, presented by 100 talented singers. The tribute commenced with a special performance by legendary singer and actor Pappukutty Bhagavathar, who sang his favorite song, “So Ja Rajakumari,” in the presence of the Most Reverend Mar Chrysostom Valiya Metropolitan. Deeply moved by the performance, the bishop joyfully remarked, “God gave me this opportunity to enjoy this song as well.”
Organized by Dr. Sam Kadammanitta’s Music Production Efforts, the grand event took place at JT Pac, Thrippunithura, featuring a spectacular 25-piece orchestra. The tribute was formally inaugurated by the renowned music director Arjunan Master.

2. Guruvandanam – A Tribute to Teachers by St. Thomas College Alumni (2000-2003 Economics Batch)
The event ‘Guruvandanam’ was organized by the 2000-2003 Economics batch alumni of St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry, to honor their teachers on the 20th anniversary of their graduation.
Dr. Sam Kadammanitta spearheaded the event with the invaluable support of his close friends, Nibu Sam Philip and Arathy S., in collaboration with the Postgraduate Department of Economics at St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry.
